This is an intermediate (B1/B2) grammar review course series. You can join the whole course series or any of the 3 courses. Each course is 6 meetings. This is the third part. If you took English classes a long time ago and were at B1/B2 level, but haven't used the language much since then and feel you have forgotten a lot or if you simply need to build your confidence with English grammar, these courses may be for you. In these classes you can review some basic grammatical phenomena at B1/B2 level. Take a closer look at our planned classes below and see if they interest you. A quick theory review, grammar exercises, and speaking are all part of the lessons. Be ready to talk sharing real or imaginary stories, opinions, and viewpoints. No course book is required. Material will be provided by the teacher. There will be some optional homework assignments for anyone interested. Third Course Class 13: Past participle and the passive voice (formst, uses, basic rules in 3 tenses) and exercises Class 14: The passive voice in all tenses and combination exercises Class 15: The conditionals: The zero, first, and second conditionals and combination exercises Class 16: The conditionals: The third conditional and second conditionals Class 17: The Gerund vs. the Infinitive Class 18: Reported speech
This series of 4 meetings each will look at different countries. In this 4 lessons we ‘visit’ California and Florida. We will look at different aspects of each country and learn about culture, local cuisine, geography, nature, interesting cities, landmarks, famous sightseeing places, history etc. The point is to both learn and give the students interesting new topics for fun conversation. We will spend two lessons on each country. The lessons include videos, audios, articles, vocabulary, and different exercises. Learners will be given the opportunity to do reading, speaking, vocabulary and listening exercises. Be ready to talk to your fellow student travelers and share your travel experiences, travel plans, favorite destinations, favorite international cuisine and dishes, landmarks etc.

We will study definitions and examples and we will attempt to create our own sentences as well. The result will leave you feeling more confident about your English skills.
