Englisch, B1/B2 - Grammar Review and Conversation Course I
This is an intermediate (B1/B2) grammar review course series. You can join the whole course series or any of the 3 courses. Each course is 6 meetings. This is the first part.
If you took English classes a long time ago and were at B1/B2 level, but haven't used the language much since then and feel you have forgotten a lot or if you simply need to build your confidence with English grammar, these courses may be for you. In these classes you can review some basic grammatical phenomena at B1/B2 level. Take a closer look at our planned classes below and see if they interest you.
A quick theory review, grammar exercises, and speaking are all part of the lessons. Be ready to talk sharing real or imaginary stories, opinions, and viewpoints. No course book is required. Material will be provided by the teacher. There will be some optional homework assignments for anyone interested.
First Course
Class 1: Review of the verb 'to be' and the present continuous tense, its uses, and exercises
Class 2: Review of the simple present, its uses, exercises and combination exercises with the present continuous
Class 3: Simple past and irregular verbs (review of the 3 verb forms for 60 -70 verbs)
Class 4: Present perfect simple and irregular verbs (past participle), its uses and exercises
Class 5: Present perfect simple and the simple past, differences, and combination exercises.
Class 6: Modal verbs: can, could, must, can't, may, might
